You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven. Matthew 5:14-16
Our mission is to provide the church with tools that can help educate their families, their communities and our nation as to how important God and His word was to America's best leaders and how God blessed us all as a result.
PRESIDENTS' FAITH AWARENESS MONTH (FEBRUARY)
Most Americans today are grossly unaware how important God and His word were to the vast majority of America's earlier presidents and citizens. From our inception as a sovereign nation and even long before that, love of God and country were inseparable.
PRESIDENTS' FAITH AWARENESS MONTH celebrates and educates America's communities, both church goers and non church goers alike. Using full size billboards, coordinating fence banners, exterior light pole banners as well as interior vertical banners, churches now have a unique opportunity, perhaps even a duty to educate their entire communities in a way they never have been before. We also have customized civic proclamations that not only includes the individual states' current preamble to their state's ow constitution, but the proclamation also includes quotes from our most well known presidents.. Finally we also can have daily devotions that a church can email their members as well as display on their website.
Almost no one both inside and outside of our churches truly knows how God's hand has blessed our country from its very beginning because we honored Him. Most all of our schools don't teach our true Christian heritage. Neither have our churches at least thus far. The media of course will not promote this. Most all of our governments typically do not promote this information either, again at least so far.
For such a time as this, the church can now educate and influence our culture like never before.
"We will not hide them from their children, but tell to the coming generation the glorious deeds of the Lord, and his might, and the wonders that he has done. He established a testimony in Jacoband appointed a law in Israel, which he commanded our fathers to teach to their children, that the next generation might know them, the children yet unborn, and arise and tell them to their children, so that they should set their hope in God and not forget the works of God, but keep his commandments;" Psalm 78:4-8
PATRIOTS' FAITH AWARENESS MONTH (JULY)
Similarly, few Americans know today how important God, His word and prayer were to even the earliest of Americans, including the leaders who risked everything when they put their signatures on the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776;
“When in the Course of human events it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.”
“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.”
“We, therefore, the Representatives of the United States of America, in General
Congress, Assembled, appealing to the Supreme Judge of the world for the rectitude of our intentions, do, in the name, and by authority of the good people of these colonies, solemnly publish and declare, That these United Colonies are, and of right ought to be free and ndependent states, that they are absolved from all allegiance to the British Crown…”
“And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes, and our sacred Honor.”
PATRIOTS' FAITH AWARENESS MONTH educates America's communities, in a similar way as PRESIDENTS FAITH AWARENSS MONTH does. For this month, we have differnet banners, proclamations and devotions, all highlighting the faith of the men who signed our Declaration of Independence. The outside banners, attached to walls, fences and/or parking lot light poles on church or business properties educates passing motorists on just how important God and His word was to our earliest leaders.
FOUNDING FATHERS' FAITH AWARENESS MONTH (SEPTEMBER)
"Only be careful, and watch yourselves closely so that you do not forget the things your eyes have seen or let them fade from your heart as long as you live. Teach them to your children and to their children after them." Deuteronomy 4:9
Did you know that America's constitution was signed 235 yeara ago on September 17, 1787? A remarkable document to say the least, our constitution is actually the longest continual codified constitution in the history of the world. Think about that.
This is the last paragaraph, prior to all the signeratures
"...done in Convention by the Unanimous Consent of the States present the Seventeenth Day of September in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and Eighty seven and of the Independance of the United States of America the Twelfth In Witness whereof We have hereunto subscribed our Names,"
Interestingly, when George Washington was administered his oath of office as preseribed by Article II, Section 1 ,on April 29, 1789, he added the words "So help me God" to his oath.
Of the 55 delegates to the Constitutional Convention, 28 were Episcoplians, 8 were Presbyterians, 7 were Congregationalists, 2 were Lutheran, 2 were Dutch Reformed, 2 were Methodists, 2 were Catholics, 3 were allegedly Diests and one whose faith was unknown.
FOUNDING FATHERS' FAITH AWARENESS MONTH was established to educate all Americans as to the faith of the delegates and signers of the United States Constitution. Like the other two months, we have created civic proclamations, daily devotionals and indoor and outdoor banners that celebrate the wisdom, insight, and faith of these extraorininary men. Churches, schools and civic organizations can use all of these toole to teach their children, members and their whole community how important fiath was to the creation of our country and the blessings and protection God afforded to us as a result.
